Koura Osamu's life stopped after he lost his young son. Due to the sense of loss he feels, he separates from his wife, Koura Keiko. Even after the shipyard where he worked went under, he hasn't found a new job. One day, his younger sister asks him to live with her 17-year-old daughter Yuko, and she leaves her with him.
